Indian Railway redesigns Railway Guard post
Ministry of Railway, Government of India has decided to redesignate the ‘Railway Guard’ post as ‘Train Manager’ with immediate effect.
Indian Railway tweeted “the revised designation is more in consonance with their existing duties and responsibilities and will improve the motivation level of Guards now Train Managers”
