Admission to the SKBU PhD. Programme (1st Part Course work) will be conducted through two (02) phases- Research Ability Test (Written Examination) and Viva-voce.

Eligibility Criteria for PhD. Admission
- Normally, a candidate seeking admission to the PhD Programme will have to appear at the entrance test. The candidate must obtain 55% marks in the Master’s level. 5% marks relaxation will be allowed for Reserved categories
- The candidates who have cleared UGC/CSIR NET (including JRF/ SET/GATE/Teacher Fellowship/INSPIRE) will not be required to appear at PhD. entrance test.
