Murshidabad (মুর্শিদাবাদ ) District is well known for it’s glorious history. It is a district of Nawab Siraj-Ud-Daulah. It’s a district of our Indian President Mr. Pranab Mukherjee. Murshidabad was a town and district of British India, in the Bengal Presidency. In the Mughal period it was the capital of Bengal. The District is known for its Hazarduari Palace (Palace of thousand doors-a famous tourist spot).

Durga Puja is one of the biggest ritual festival in Murshidabad. Generally Durga Puja means victory of Good over Evil.
