Panchayat & Rural Development Section, Purba Medinipur , West Bengal invites applications for the post of Accounts Clerk, Typist, Executive Assistant, Nirman Sahayak, Sahayak and Panchayat Karmee in Panchayat Samitis & Gram Panchayats under Purba Medinipur District. 1. Accounts Clerk: 1 Nos. (OBC-A—1)
Qualification: Madhyamik pass or equivalent
Desirable qualification: Diploma in Computer Application from recognised Institute/ Training Centre.
Pay scale: Rs.5400—25200; Grade pay—Rs.2600
2. Clerk-cum-Typist: 3 Nos. (Gen—1; SC—1; ST—1)
Qualification: Madhyamik pass or equivalent and must have typing speed of 30 wordsper minute in English and 20 words per minute in Bengali. Candidates should have proficiency in MS Word and such other word processing application.
Pay scale: Same as above
3. Executive Assistant: 5 Nos. (Gen—2; Gen(sportsperson)—2; SC—2)
Qualification: Bachelor degree in any discipline and Diploma in Computer Application.
Desirable qualification: Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in Social work or rural development as well as experience in the field.
Pay scale: Rs.7100—Rs.37100; Grade pay—Rs.3600
4. Nirman Sahayak: 26 Nos. (Gen—4; SC—4; OBC-A—1; OBC-B—1; ST—8)
Qualification: Diploma in Civil Engineering.
Pay scale: Rs.9000—Rs.40500 and Grade pay—Rs.4400
5. Sahayak: 57 Nos. (Gen—33; Gen (sportsperson)—2; SC—12; ST—3; OBC-A—7; OBC-B—5)

N.B: An employee working in the Gram Panchayat or the Panchayat Samiti or the Zilla Parishad / Siliguri Mahakuma Parishad shall on application for appointment to the post be considered as departmental candidate along with the candidates for direct recruitment subject to their fulfilment of qualifications and age as mentioned above for each the post
